Objectives
Every 4 years, the iCEF Congress is the place
where specialists of Food Engineering from all the world
meet.
The 9th International Congress on Engineering and Food,
iCEF9,
will take place in Montpellier, France, on March 7-11,
2004.
Food Industry is the first industrial sector in France
and one of the largest
in the European Union.
Numerous research and development teams are working in
order to improve
the quality and safety of products and the competitiveness
of the industry.
The objectives of this Congress are:
- to promote exchange of information and personal contact
between all those interested in Food Engineering,
- to explore new paths for innovation,
- to present research and development results,
- to exchange information on new processes and equipment,
- to discuss food engineering research and development
directions for the future.
